This Excel file is a template for creating a chart of the six cell means from a 2 x 3 full-factorial experiment. The output (on the worksheet titled “the Figure”) is a chart that is ready for inclusion in a manuscript.
The input (on the worksheet titled “2×3 ORIGINAL data”) is the names of the independent variables, the labels for each of their levels (e.g., “High,” “Moderate,” and “Low”), the name of the dependent variable, and the six cell means. The plotted range of the dependent variable is 1 – 5, but this can be adjusted by editing the axis.
