Batch file (command line) code for combining all text files into one large text file

At the command prompt (or as part of a batch file), the following will append all of the directory’s text files (CSV files in this example) into one combined file.   For each of the files with a name that matches the *.csv pattern, it’s piped into the new “all_combined.csv” file.

for %file in (*.csv) do type “%file” >> all_combined.csv
